The AD1885JST is a 16-bit stereo full-duplex audio codec compliant with the AC'97 2.1 standard. Manufactured by Analog Devices Inc., this codec offers enhanced features such as variable sample rates from 7040 Hz to 48 kHz with 1 Hz resolution, and a dynamic range greater than 90 dB.
It supports multiple analog line-level stereo inputs including LINE-IN, CD, VIDEO, and AUX, as well as mono inputs for speakerphone and PC BEEP. A mono MIC input with a built-in 20 dB preamp is also available. The device provides stereo line-level outputs and a mono output for speakerphone or internal speakers.
