The AD1674BD is a complete 12-bit successive approximation analog-to-digital converter (ADC) from Analog Devices / Maxim Integrated. It integrates a sample-and-hold amplifier (SHA) and supports both internal and external voltage references. The device achieves a maximum sampling rate of 100 kSPS, making it suitable for moderate-speed data acquisition applications.
The ADC uses a SAR architecture and provides a parallel data interface for easy connection to microprocessors. It operates from a single 5V supply and is specified over the industrial temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. The input is single-ended, and the configuration is S/H-ADC with a 1:1 ratio.
The AD1674BD is housed in a 28-lead CDIP (0.600", 15.24mm) through-hole package, offering robust mechanical mounting for prototyping and industrial environments. The device is pin-compatible with industry-standard AD574A and AD674A converters.
