The ACMI #6050 Black Epoxy Ink is a high-performance marking ink from American Power Devices. This two-component, semi-paste ink can be cured by air or heat, providing a durable finish.
It is formulated for superior adhesion to nonporous surfaces such as epoxy, glass, and metal. Once properly cured, the ink exhibits excellent resistance to abrasion, MEK, alcohol, TCE, flux removers, salt, acid, and alkali solutions. This makes it suitable for demanding applications.
The ACMI #6050 ink is designed for use with rubber stamping or offset printing methods. It dries to the touch within 6-8 hours and develops full solvent resistance in 4-7 days. A bake cure can be used for faster solvent resistance development.
With a pot life of 4-5 hours after mixing, it allows for practical application times. The ink has a recommended shelf life of 1 year when stored in a refrigerator. ACMI #6050 Thinner and ACMI #6000 Cleaner are recommended for use with this product.
