The ACE1502EMX is a member of the ACE1502 family of Arithmetic Controller Engine (ACEx) microcontrollers from On Semiconductor, designed for low-power applications. It features an 8-bit ACE1502 core with a 25MHz clock speed, 2KB of on-chip code EEPROM, 64 bytes of RAM, and 64 bytes of data EEPROM. The device operates from a single supply voltage of 1.8V to 3.6V and is fully static CMOS, offering a low-power HALT mode with typical supply current of 100nA at 2.7V.
On-chip peripherals include a multifunction 16-bit timer, watchdog timer, programmable under-voltage detection, brown-out reset, and a hardware bit-coder for encryption tasks. The ACE1502EMX supports in-circuit programming and provides 8 general-purpose I/O pins with multi-input wake-up capability. It features a 1µs instruction cycle time with ±2% accuracy and an internal oscillator requiring no external components.
