The ABM2-8.000MHZ-D4Y-T is a ceramic SMD microprocessor crystal from Abracon LLC, designed for high-density applications requiring a low-profile timing solution. This crystal operates at a fundamental frequency of 8 MHz with a frequency tolerance of ±30 ppm and frequency stability of ±30 ppm over the operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
Electrical characteristics include a maximum equivalent series resistance (ESR) of 100 Ω, a load capacitance of 18 pF, and a maximum shunt capacitance of 7 pF. The drive level is limited to 100 µW, and the aging specification is ±5 ppm in the first year. Insulation resistance is a minimum of 500 MΩ at 100 Vdc.
The crystal is housed in a compact 2-SMD, no lead package measuring 8.00 mm x 4.50 mm x 1.80 mm, suitable for surface mount assembly. It is designed for RoHS compliant reflow processes and is hermetically sealed, providing high reliability and high temperature operation.
