The AAT4674ITP-1-T1 from Skyworks Solutions is a member of their Application Specific Power Management SmartSwitch™ family. This device functions as a dual input, single output power supply selector switch, designed to operate from batteries or any power supply with an input voltage up to 6V.
It connects the supply voltage from either IN1 or IN2 to the OUT pin through a low Rds(on) power MOSFET, minimizing voltage drops and power dissipation. The operational state is controlled by the Enable (EN) and Select (SEL) pins. Once enabled, the SEL pin switches between the IN1 and IN2 inputs. The device features current limiting, which can be programmed via resistors on the IIN1 and IIN2 pins, and includes UVLO (Under-Voltage Lockout) protection.
The AAT4674ITP-1-T1 is specified for operation over a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. It is available in a thermally enhanced, space-saving Pb-free 12-pin TSOPJW package, suitable for surface mounting.
Key features include a high level of integration with reverse blocking diode, current sensing, programmable current limit, and single control pin switching. It also offers break-before-make switch-over with minimal output voltage drop during change-over, and a shutdown current of less than 1 μA.
