The AAT3601IIH-T1 from Skyworks Solutions is a highly integrated Power Management IC (PMIC) suitable for portable devices. It combines a single-cell Lithium Ion/Polymer battery charger with a fully integrated step-down converter and five low dropout (LDO) regulators. This device also includes two load switches for dynamic power path management.
The step-down DC/DC converter operates at a 1.5MHz switching frequency, enabling the use of smaller external components while maintaining high efficiency. The five LDO regulators offer programmable output voltages via an I2C interface and provide good power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) and low noise operation, making them suitable for noise-sensitive loads. The battery charger is a linear charger with programmable charge current up to 1.4A and includes features like digitized thermal regulation and automatic trickle charge.
