The AAT2522IRN-1-T1 is a dual output, 3A step-down DC-DC switching regulator from Skyworks Solutions. It integrates both high-side and low-side power MOSFETs (120mΩ and 85mΩ respectively) and operates at a fixed switching frequency of 1.4MHz. The input voltage range is 2.7V to 5.5V, and each output can be adjusted from 0.6V to 5.5V, making it suitable for a variety of low-voltage applications.
With a typical efficiency of up to 95%, the device minimizes power loss and heat generation. The no-load quiescent current is very low at 90μA, and the shutdown current is less than 1μA, enabling excellent power savings in battery-powered systems. The regulator uses synchronous rectification for improved efficiency.
The AAT2522IRN-1-T1 is housed in a compact 16-VFDFN exposed pad package (16-TDFN 3x4mm) and is designed for surface mount assembly. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C (ambient).
