The A7002CMHN1/T1AGBEL is a tamper-resistant secure microcontroller from NXP Semiconductors, part of the A700x family. It is built around a dedicated MX51 security CPU and includes 76.4 kB of EEPROM program memory and 3.2 kB of RAM. The device supports I²C and 2-Wire Serial interfaces for communication.
This microcontroller integrates a high-performance cryptographic coprocessor supporting RSA up to 2048-bit, ECC up to 320-bit, Triple-DES, and AES algorithms. It runs the JCOP 2.4.2 operating system and is compliant with Java Card and Global Platform specifications. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 90°C, and the supply voltage range is 1.62V to 5.5V.
Designed for secure authentication applications, the A7002CMHN1/T1AGBEL is suitable for use in bank cards, electronic passports, pay-TV cards, and embedded secure elements. Its low sleep mode current of 40 µA makes it suitable for power-sensitive designs.
