The A4984SESTR-T is a fully integrated bipolar stepper motor driver IC from Allegro Microsystems. It integrates a control and power stage with DMOS technology, featuring four half-bridge outputs capable of driving up to 2A per coil. The device operates from an 8V to 35V motor supply voltage and accepts logic supply voltages of 3.3V or 5V. It supports step resolutions of 1, 1/2, 1/4, and 1/8, and provides mixed and slow current decay modes. The low sleep mode current of less than 10µA makes it suitable for power-sensitive applications. The driver is rated for an operating junction temperature range of -20°C to +150°C. It is available in a 24-QFN (4x4) package or a 24-WFQFN with exposed pad, both surface mount. The component is RoHS3 compliant and REACH unaffected.
