The A3985SLDTR-T is a bipolar stepper motor driver controller from Allegro Microsystems. It supports commutation and direction management for general purpose motor drive applications. The device uses a pre-driver half bridge output configuration with four half bridges and power MOSFET technology.
The device operates with a supply voltage from 12V to 50V. Its logic supply voltage and logic input/output voltage have a maximum rating of 7V. The SPI interface is used for control, and step resolution supports full-step and half-step (1, 1/2). Integrated features include fixed off-time PWM current control, synchronous rectification, cross-conduction protection, adjustable mixed decay, low-current idle mode, and a dual 6-bit DAC current reference.
The A3985SLDTR-T is rated for an operating temperature range of -20°C to 85°C. It is available in 38-TSSOP and 38-TFSOP surface mount packages. Tape and reel packaging is provided at 4000 pieces per reel.
