The Allegro Microsystems A1126LLHLT-T is an omnipolar, ultrasensitive Hall-effect switch with a digital output. It features an integrated voltage regulator for operation up to 24V and is designed for extended temperature ranges from -40°C to 150°C.
This device includes a Hall-voltage generator, small-signal amplifier, chopper stabilization, Schmitt trigger, and a short-circuit protected open-drain output. Its omnipolar operation means it activates with either north or south magnetic polarity, making it a versatile replacement for reed switches and simplifying manufacturing processes as magnet orientation is not critical.
The sensor is housed in a SOT-23W surface-mount package. Key electrical characteristics include a supply current of 4mA and a response time of 25μs. It is also automotive qualified to AEC-Q100 standards.
