The WECO Electrical Connectors Inc. 980-W/02 is a barrier strip connector with a 6.35 mm pitch, designed for wave soldering onto PCBs. It offers vertical wire entry with screw connections and features a head contact design for easier wire insertion. The non-rotatably mounted square washers automatically lift when the screw is loosened, simplifying the connection process. This connector supports a clamping range of 0.25 - 1.5 mm² for solid conductors and 0.25 - 1 mm² for flexible conductors, with an AWG range of 22-18.
