The WECO Electrical Connectors Inc. 976-T-DS/03 is an inclined PCB connector with a 7.5 mm pitch, designed for screw connections and a 45° wire entry angle. This model is configured with 3 poles and utilizes a through-hole mounting technology suitable for wave soldering.

Key technical specifications include a clamping range of 1-6 mm² for solid conductors and 1-2.5 mm² for stranded conductors without a wire protector, and 0.75-4 mm² for solid and 0.75-2.5 mm² for stranded conductors with a wire protector. The rated cross-section is 2.5 mm², with a wire stripping length of 6.5 mm ± 0.5 mm. It supports an overvoltage category of III with a pollution severity level of 3, and a rated voltage of up to 1000 V (II), 630 V (III), or 400 V (III). The connector is constructed with a PA grey V-0 moulding material, tin-plated brass terminal bodies, zinc-plated steel screws, tin-plated copper solder pins, and tin-plated tin bronze wire protectors. It operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 100°C and has a comparative tracking index (CTI) of ≥ 600, placing it in Insulating Group I. Lateral latching elements allow for connection to longer terminal strips without pole loss. The DS-design includes wire protection to prevent damage to stranded wires by the screw. This PCB connector is ideal for assembly in the center of PCBs and allows for space-saving arrangement of consecutive rows of terminals.
