The 3M Scotchpak™ 9744 Release Liner is a transparent polyester film designed for various release applications. It offers excellent chemical stability and features a fluoropolymer release coating on one side. The film has a target thickness of 74 um (2.91 mils).
Key properties include a liner release of NMT 100 g/in, tensile strength at break of 90 lbs./inch (MD) and 110 lbs./inch (CD), and elongation at break of 150% (MD) and 100% (CD). The liner is supplied on 3-inch diameter cores and is available in widths up to 45 inches (114 cm).
This release liner has a shelf life of two years from the date of manufacture when stored properly. It is suitable for applications requiring a reliable and stable release surface. The product is DMF filed with the FDA and is occlusive.
