The WECO 974-DS/04 is a 4-position PCB terminal block with a 5.00mm pitch, designed for wire-to-board connections using screw termination with a leaf spring and wire guard. It features a 45° (135°) angle mating orientation relative to the PCB, making it suitable for space-constrained applications.
Electrical ratings include a rated current of 24 A per IEC 60947-7-4 and multiple voltage ratings depending on overvoltage category and pollution severity: 250 V (Cat III/PS3), 320 V (Cat III/PS2), and 630 V (Cat II/PS2). The rated impulse voltage is 4 kV. The terminal accepts solid wires from 1 to 6 mm² and stranded wires from 1 to 2.5 mm², with AWG range 12-26.
The housing is made of gray polyamide (PA) with UL94 V-0 flammability rating, CTI ≥ 600, and insulating group I. Contacts are tin-plated brass, screws are zinc-plated steel, and solder pins are tin-plated copper. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 100°C.
Mounting is through-hole with 1.3 mm PCB hole diameter and 1 mm solder pin diameter. The standard package quantity is 200 pieces per box. This connector is suitable for industrial control, power distribution, and general wire-to-board applications requiring reliable screw connections.
