The NorComp 962-025-030R121 is a two-piece D-Sub backshell designed for 25-position connectors. It features a 90° cable exit for space-constrained applications and provides shielding for EMI protection. The housing is made of zinc die cast alloy with nickel plating, offering durability and corrosion resistance. The backshell kit includes two backshell halves, three housing screws (M2.6x0.45, 40 in-oz max torque), one long and one short 4-40 flat head screw (50 in-oz max torque), and a set of compression inserts for round cables up to 9 mm diameter. Operating temperature range is -40°C to +120°C. The compression insert is made of UL recognized ABS. Dimensions for the 25-position variant are 15.80 mm (A) x 53.30 mm (B) x 23.10 mm (C) with overall length of 72.40 mm (E).
This backshell is designed for 25-position D-Sub connectors.
The cable exit is 90° (right angle).
The backshell housing is zinc die cast with nickel plating. The screws are steel, zinc plated. The compression insert is ABS, UL recognized.
Operating temperature range is -40°C to +120°C.

Maximum torque for housing screws is 40 in-oz. For flat head screws it is 50 in-oz.
