The NorComp 960-015-010R011 is a one-piece backshell designed for use with 15-position Micro-D connectors from the 960 series. It features a 180° cable exit and is fully shielded to provide EMI protection. The backshell is constructed from black thermoplastic with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating, ensuring durability and safety in various applications.
This backshell kit includes a strain relief and two #2-56 UNC thumbscrews for secure mating. It accommodates round cables with a maximum wire insulation diameter of 0.039 inches. The design allows for easy assembly with the included alignment sleeve and insulator halves.
Ideal for commercial applications requiring a compact, shielded interconnect solution, this backshell intermates with standard Micro-D connectors. The metal interface provides grounding for improved electrical and mechanical shield conditions. Contacts are sold separately.
