The Mill-Max 940-99-068-17-400000 is a standard PLCC socket from the Series 940 family, designed to accept JEDEC PLCC packages per MO-047 and MO-052. It features 68 positions arranged in a 4 x 17 grid with a 1.27mm (0.050") pitch.
The socket uses a closed frame insulator made of glass reinforced PPS, providing robust mechanical support. Contacts are made of beryllium copper with 150µ" tin/lead plating and a 100µ" (2.54µm) contact finish thickness. Standoffs are included to provide clearance for heat dissipation and cleaning.
