The 3M 929975-01-36-RK is a 72-position boardmount socket from the 929 Series, designed for board-to-board interconnect applications. It features a through-hole mounting style with solder tail termination and a push-pull fastening mechanism.
This receptacle uses a tuning fork (forked) contact design with tin plating over a 2.54µm nickel underplating on copper alloy contacts. The insulator is black glass filled polyester (PCT) with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating. Electrical ratings include 2A maximum current (all lines energized at 65°C ambient) and 1500 VRMS withstanding voltage at sea level.
The socket operates over -40°C to 105°C and supports 260°C process temperature per J-STD-020C. It is recommended for mating with 929 and 2300 series pin strip headers with 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch.
