The 3M 929835-01-28 is a 28-position, single-row, unshrouded breakaway header from the 929 series. It features a right-angle mounting orientation with through-hole solder tails, making it suitable for board-to-board connections where a low-profile, perpendicular interconnect is required.
Each male pin contact is made from copper alloy with a tin-lead plating finish (100µin thickness) over a nickel underplating. The contact shape is square, with a mating pin length of 5.97mm (0.235"). The insulator is black glass-filled PBT material rated UL94 V-0, with an insulation height of 2.92mm.
Electrically, the header is rated for 2.5A continuous current, with insulation resistance greater than 5×10⁹ Ω at 500 VDC and a withstanding voltage of 1500 VRMS at sea level. The operating temperature range is -40°C to +105°C.
