The Preci-Dip 90026-AS is a surface mount spring loaded contact (pogo pin) designed for reliable interconnection in board-to-board and module stacking applications. It features a one-piece solid body construction with no capped components, preventing solder wicking inside the shell. The contact is rated for 3A continuous current at 10°C rise and 5A peak, with a maximum contact resistance of 20mΩ. It operates over a temperature range of -55 to 125°C and has passed sinusoidal vibration and shock tests per IEC standards with no electrical discontinuity greater than 1µs. The plunger is made of brass alloy with 0.5µm (20µin) gold plating, and the spring is stainless steel. The working height ranges from 4.60mm to 6.00mm with a stroke of 1.4mm. Initial force is 0.25N and half-stroke force is 0.6N. The part is supplied in bulk or on tape and reel and is RoHS3 compliant (unverified).
