The Molex 89400-0820 is a 2.00mm pitch wire-to-board header from the 89400 series. It features 8 positions in a single row with vertical orientation and through hole mounting. The header is partially shrouded with a locking feature for secure mating.
Electrical ratings include 4A maximum current per contact and 250V maximum voltage. Contact resistance is 20mΩ maximum. The contacts are made of brass with tin plating (1.27µm). The insulator is natural nylon with UL94V-0 flammability rating.
The header has a kinked PC tail of 3.40mm length and is designed for 1.20mm recommended PCB thickness. It includes PCB retention for secure soldering. Operating temperature range is -25°C to +85°C. Durability is rated for 30 mating cycles.
