The 3M 89120-0103 is a 20-position IDC ribbon cable socket from the 891 series. It features a free hanging (in-line) mounting style with IDC termination, designed for use with 26-28 AWG ribbon cable. The connector has two rows with 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch and row spacing, and accepts female socket contacts with gold plating (30.0µin) over nickel underplate.
Electrical performance includes current ratings up to 3.50A for a single line with 26 AWG wire (derated per EIA-364-070 Method 2), insulation resistance greater than 1 GΩ at 500 V DC, and withstanding voltage of 1,000 V RMS at sea level.
