The Wago 855-8008 is a fuse-protected power tap specifically designed for use with busbars, serving as a tap for L- or N-conductors. It features an integrated SIBA fuse with an indicator for safe disconnection of downstream measurement units in case of overload or short circuit.
Mounting is achieved directly on the busbar using an M8 screw. The measurement line connects via the Push-in CAGE CLAMP® system, which accommodates solid and fine-stranded conductors without requiring tools. The connection unit, including the fuse, can rotate, facilitating subsequent wiring into cable channels. The voltage tap can also be labeled using WAGO marking options.
Key electrical specifications include a rated AC voltage of 400V and a 2A, 450V fuse with a 70kA interrupting rating. The Push-in CAGE CLAMP® connection supports solid and fine-stranded conductors from 0.2 to 6 mm² (24-10 AWG) with a strip length of 10-12 mm. Mechanically, the tap measures 61mm in width, 14mm in height, and 48mm in depth. It operates within a temperature range of -25°C to 70°C.
