The TE Connectivity 84952-4 is a 4-position FPC connector designed for flat flexible cable interconnects. It features a 1.00mm pitch and bottom contact configuration, making it suitable for space-constrained PCB layouts. The connector uses a right-angle surface mount termination with solder retention for reliable mechanical attachment.
The housing is molded from liquid crystal polymer (LCP) with glass filling, rated UL94 V-0 for flammability. The actuator is glass-filled polyamide (nylon). Contacts are phosphor bronze with tin finish. The connector supports a 0.30mm thick FPC cable and includes a slide lock for zero insertion force (ZIF) operation.
Rated for 200V and an operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, this connector is suitable for a variety of consumer and industrial applications requiring a compact, low-profile interconnect solution.
