The 8468-21B1-RK-TR is a 68-position PLCC socket manufactured by 3M Electronic Solutions. It features a 4x17 grid arrangement with a 1.27mm (0.050") pitch, suitable for high-density packaging of PLCC ICs.
The socket has a surface mount termination with solder contacts, finished with tin (160µin thickness). The closed frame housing is made of glass-filled polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), providing mechanical stability and insulation. Contact material is copper alloy.
