The 3M 8350-6005 is a 50-position D-Sub receptacle from the 8350 series. It features female sockets arranged in 3 rows and is designed for IDC termination with 26-28 AWG solid or stranded ribbon cable. The connector is panel mountable with a 4-40 UNC threaded flange. Contacts are made of copper alloy with gold plating on the wiping area (30 µin) and nickel underplating (100 µin). The shell is steel with tin plating, and the insulation is glass-filled polyester (PBT) rated UL94 V-0. This connector is suitable for applications requiring high-density I/O connections, such as intelligent peripheral interfaces (IPI). The 8350 series offers lower insertion and withdrawal force compared to other 50-position products. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +105°C.
