The Conxall/Switchcraft 8280-8PG-318 is a MINI-CON-X series field-installable circular connector. It is a cable-end receptacle with male pin contacts and uses crimp termination for secure wire attachment. The connector housing is made from polyamide (nylon) plastic, offering good mechanical strength and environmental resistance. A bayonet lock ensures reliable mating and quick disconnect.
This 8-position connector is keyed to prevent misalignment during mating. It has gold over nickel contact plating, providing excellent corrosion resistance and reliable signal integrity. The connector is rated for 600V and has a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 115°C. It is designed for free-hanging (in-line) mounting and includes a backshell for cable strain relief.
