The Würth Elektronik 82400102 is a high-speed TVS diode designed for protecting sensitive electronics from electrostatic discharge (ESD) and electrical fast transients (EFT). It offers a reverse standoff voltage of 5V and a typical clamping voltage of 7.7V. The device handles 7A peak pulse current under 8/20µs conditions and up to 40A for EFT pulses (5/50ns).
With rail-to-rail steering topology, this TVS diode protects two data lines and one VDD line. It supports ESD protection up to 15kV air discharge and 8kV contact discharge, meeting IEC 61000-4-2 requirements. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C.
Packaged in an SOT-23-6L surface mount package, the part is suitable for general purpose applications requiring compact ESD protection. It is compliant with RoHS, REACH, and halogen-free standards, with MSL 3 moisture sensitivity.
