The Littelfuse 81000000005 is a through-hole cartridge fuse holder designed for printed circuit board mounting. Part of the 810 series, it accepts both 5mm x 20mm and 3AG (1/4" x 1-1/4") fuse sizes. The holder features a rugged black thermoplastic housing rated UL94 V-0, tinned copper alloy contacts, and a horizontal orientation with PC pin termination.
Electrically, the holder is rated for 250V with a current rating of 6.3A under VDE conditions and 16A under UL/CSA conditions. It has a VDE-rated power dissipation of 2.5W. The holder provides IP40 protection and meets protection class PC2 per IEC 60127-6. It operates over a temperature range of -25°C to 70°C.
Designed for secure and easy fuse replacement, the holder uses a bayonet-joint cap mechanism. The three solder pins are spaced at 5.08mm for common connection. Contact resistance is a maximum of 5 mΩ, with dielectric strength of 1.5 kV minimum and impulse voltage rating of 4 kV.
