The JST JMD series 80PS-JMDSS-G-1-TF is a board-to-board connector plug with 80 positions arranged in 2 rows at a 0.5mm pitch. It features a right-angle surface mount design with a height above board of 4.80mm. The connector is designed for smooth mating thanks to its cantilever type contacts and includes guide ribs on both ends to prevent distortion.
Electrical specifications include a current rating of 0.5A AC/DC and a voltage rating of 50V AC/DC. Contact resistance is 50mΩ maximum initially and 100mΩ after environmental tests. Insulation resistance is 50MΩ minimum, and the connector withstands 100VAC for one minute without breakdown.
