The Preci-Dip 801-87-036-10-001101 is a 36-position single row socket connector designed for board-to-board applications. It features a 2.54mm (0.100") pitch and through hole solder tail termination, making it suitable for standard PCB mounting. The connector is rated for 3A current and has a contact resistance of 10mΩ and dielectric strength of 1000VRMS.
Mechanically, the connector uses a 6-finger beryllium copper contact clip and a brass sleeve, housed in a black glass-filled polyester PCT-GF30-FR insulator with UL94 V-0 flammability rating. It accepts mating pins with diameters of 0.70mm to 0.90mm and 0.635mm, with typical insertion force of 1.2N and withdrawal force of 0.6N. The mechanical life is rated at 500 cycles minimum.
The operating temperature range is -55°C to 125°C. Contact finish is tin flash, with gold plating available on request. The connector is RoHS compliant. This part is from the 801 series and is available in bulk packaging.
