The Preci-Dip 801-87-024-10-001101 is a single row, 24-position socket connector designed for board to board applications. It features a 2.54mm pitch and through hole solder tail termination for secure mounting on PCBs. The insulator is made of black glass filled polyester PCT-GF30-FR with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating. The contact clips are beryllium copper (C17200) and the sleeves are brass CuZn36Pb3 (C36000), both with Tin Flash plating. This socket is rated for 3A current and has a maximum contact resistance of 10 mΩ. Typical insertion force is 1.2 N and typical withdrawal force is 0.6 N, tested with a polished steel gauge of 0.76 mm diameter. Minimum mechanical life is 500 cycles. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 125°C. This connector is suitable for applications requiring reliable and durable interconnections in controlled environments.
