The Preci-Dip 801-87-012-10-001101 is a 12 position single row socket connector designed for board-to-board applications. It features a 2.54mm pitch and through hole mounting with solder termination. The connector uses a black glass filled polyester PCT-GF30-FR insulator with UL 94 V-0 flammability rating. The sleeve is made of brass CuZn36Pb3 (C36000) with tin flash plating, and the 6-finger contact clip is beryllium copper (C17200) with gold plating.
Electrical specifications include a rated current of 3A, maximum contact resistance of 10 mΩ, and minimum dielectric strength of 1000 Vrms. The connector accepts mating pins with diameters from 0.70 mm to 0.90 mm, and is also compatible with 0.635 mm pins. Typical insertion force is 1.2 N and withdrawal force is 0.6 N. The mechanical life is rated for a minimum of 500 cycles.
The operating temperature range is -55°C to 125°C. The connector is available in bulk or tape and reel packaging. This part is RoHS compliant and REACH unaffected.
