The TE Connectivity 8-215079-6 is a 16-position receptacle connector from the Micro-MaTch series, designed for board-to-board interconnections. It features a 1.27mm pitch and through hole termination with kinked pins for secure solder attachment. The housing is made of red polyester GF with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating, ensuring durability and safety.
The contacts are dual-beam forked design made of phosphor bronze with tin over nickel plating, rated for 1.5A per contact. The connector supports 100VAC/VDC operation and has an insulation resistance of 1000 MΩ. It operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 105°C, making it suitable for industrial environments.
