The 8.0SMDJ70CA is a surface mount TVS diode from Littelfuse's 8.0SMDJ series, designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 70V and a clamping voltage of 113V.
With an 8kW peak pulse power capability (10/1000μs waveform) and a peak pulse current of 71A, this diode offers robust transient protection. It has a fast response time of less than 1ps and low reverse leakage current (<5μA).
The device is housed in a DO-214AB (SMC) package for surface mount assembly, with an operating temperature range of -65°C to 150°C. It is RoHS compliant, halogen free, and lead-free (Pb-free E3).
