It operates from a 3.3V supply voltage and delivers a CMOS output with a maximum rise/fall time of 8 ns and a duty cycle between 45% and 55%. The frequency stability is ±50 ppm over the -10°C to +70°C operating temperature range, inclusive of initial tolerance, temperature variation, supply voltage change, and first-year aging.

 

The oscillator features a tri-state enable/disable function controlled by pin 1: a logic high or open enables the output, while a logic low disables it. The start-up time is 5 ms maximum, and the RMS phase jitter is 1 ps maximum (integrated 12 kHz to 20 MHz for frequencies above 40 MHz). The output load capacitance is 15 pF.

 

The device is housed in a 4-SMD, no-lead ceramic package measuring 3.2 mm x 2.5 mm x 1.1 mm, suitable for surface mount assembly. It is supplied on tape and reel. The storage temperature range is -55°C to +125°C. The datasheet indicates RoHS compliance and lead-free construction.
