7C-50.000MBA-T Description

Short technical summary and product information.

The TXC 7C-50.000MBA-T is a 50 MHz crystal-based CMOS oscillator designed for general-purpose timing applications. It operates from a 3.3V supply voltage with ±10% tolerance and draws a maximum current of 10 mA over the 1 MHz to 75 MHz range. Frequency stability is ±25 ppm over the -10°C to +70°C operating temperature range, inclusive of initial tolerance, aging, and variations.

The oscillator provides a CMOS output with tri-state enable/disable function (active high enable). Key timing characteristics include a rise/fall time of 8 ns (10% to 90% VDD), duty cycle of 40% to 60%, and phase jitter of 1 ps RMS (integrated 12 kHz to 20 MHz). Start-up time is 5 ms maximum.

The device is housed in a compact 5.0 mm x 3.2 mm x 1.2 mm 4-SMD no lead ceramic package, suitable for surface mount assembly. It is supplied in tape and reel packaging. The oscillator is RoHS compliant and lead free per the datasheet.
