The TE Connectivity 796382-1 is a backshell with cable clamp kit designed for size 23 circular connectors. It provides strain relief and cable management with a 90° exit angle and accepts cables up to 0.703 inch (17.86 mm) in diameter. The shell features a 1 3/8-18 UNEF thread for secure attachment.
Constructed from black polyamide (nylon), the backshell includes self-tapping clamp screws and is supplied as an unassembled kit. The cable clamp inserts can be adjusted by inverting or changing inserts for different cable diameters.
This backshell is compatible with CPC (Circular Plastic Connector) series connectors from TE Connectivity. It is suitable for industrial, commercial, and harsh environment applications requiring reliable cable retention and environmental sealing when mated with appropriate connectors.
