WAGO's EPSITRON® Series of single-channel Electronic Circuit Breakers (ECBs) reliably protect systems against over-current and short-circuiting. This model, the 787-2861/400-000, operates at 24 VDC and has a nominal current rating of 4A.
Designed for secondary-side fusing, it triggers even with low over-currents within EN 60204 conditions. Triggering occurs rapidly, within 4 ms in the event of a hard short-circuit. The device features a slimline design and is suitable for DIN rail mounting.
Key specifications include a switch-on capacity greater than 50,000 µF and a wide ambient temperature range of -25 to +70°C. Resetting and on/off switching can be performed directly on the module or remotely via a digital input signal. A triggered signal output is available and can be combined for up to 30 devices.
