This Wago electronic circuit breaker, model 787-1668/006-1000, provides space-saving protection for circuits with its eight independent channels. Each channel is individually adjustable for nominal currents ranging from 0.5A to 6A, utilizing a selector switch for easy configuration.
The device features active current limitation, ensuring protection against overcurrent conditions. It supports a nominal input voltage of 24 VDC and an output voltage range of 18-30 VDC, with a maximum voltage drop of 155 mV at 6A. The switch-on capacity per channel is greater than 65,000 µF, and it includes time-delayed channel switching with a trip time between 16 ms and 5 seconds, depending on the load.
Signaling is provided via 8 LEDs (green/red/orange) per channel, indicating operational status and tripped conditions. A remote control input allows for resetting tripped channels or switching channels on/off via a pulse sequence. The unit is designed for DIN rail mounting and offers a high efficiency of 99% with a maximum power loss of 8.6W at full load.
Safety features include an internal fuse of 15A per channel, protection class III, and IP20 rating. It also incorporates transient suppression via a 33V suppressor diode. The MTBF is rated at over 500,000 hours per IEC 61709.
