The 74VHC4066M is a digitally controlled quad analog switch manufactured by Onsemi. Utilizing advanced silicon-gate CMOS technology, these devices offer low “on” resistance and low “off” leakages, making them suitable for precise signal routing. They are bidirectional switches, allowing any analog input to function as an output and vice-versa. The 4066 switches incorporate linearization circuitry to further reduce “on” resistance and enhance switch linearity.

This component can control analog signals up to 12V (peak) with digital control signals in the same range. Each of the four switches has its own control input, which disables the switch when low. All analog inputs and outputs, as well as digital inputs, are protected from electrostatic damage by diodes to VCC and ground. The device is housed in a 14-SOIC (0.154", 3.90mm Width) package, designed for surface mount applications, and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C (TA). It features a 1:1 multiplexer/demultiplexer circuit, a -3dB bandwidth of 100MHz, and a maximum on-state resistance of 70Ohm.
