This device supports two-way asynchronous communication between data buses, with the direction controlled by the DIR input. The enable inputs (nG) can be used to isolate the buses. It offers high-speed performance with a propagation delay of 4.5 ns at 3V and symmetrical output impedance of 24mA.

 

The transceiver operates within a voltage range of 2.0V to 3.6V, with data retention possible down to 1.5V. It is pin and function compatible with the 74 Series 16245 and features latch-up performance exceeding 500mA. ESD protection is provided, with HBM immunity greater than 2000V and MM immunity greater than 200V.

 

The 74LCX16245TTR is supplied in a 48-TSSOP package for surface mounting. Its operating temperature range is -55°C to 125°C.
