The 74AHC594T16-13 from Diodes Incorporated is an advanced high-speed CMOS 8-bit shift register with an 8-bit output register. It is designed for general-purpose logic applications and serial to parallel data conversion.

This device accepts serial data input on the positive transition of the shift register clock (SHCP). Reset functions for both the shift register (SHR) and storage register (STR) are available and independent of the clocks. Data is transferred from the shift register to the output register with a rising pulse on the storage register clock (STCP). The output register features push-pull outputs (Q0-Q7) and a serial data output (Q7S) for cascading multiple devices.
