The Würth Elektronik 7497110616 is a single-port, through-hole RJ45 jack with integrated magnetics from the WE-RJ45LAN series. It combines a 1:1 turns ratio LAN transformer with 350µH inductance (tested at 100kHz/100mV with 8mA DC bias) and a USB 3.0 connector in a compact shielded package.
This connector is designed for 10/100/1000 Base-T Ethernet applications compliant with IEEE 802.3ab and supports AutoMDIX. Electrical performance includes a minimum insertion loss of -1.0dB from 1-100MHz, return loss ranging from -16dB (1-30MHz) to -10dB (80-100MHz), common mode rejection of -30dB minimum, and crosstalk of -30dB minimum across the same frequency range.
The housing is made of UL 94V-0 rated thermoplastic, and the transformer core is ferrite. The connector features gold-plated contacts (30µ" gold over 30µ" nickel over copper alloy) and tin-plated terminations. It includes a board guide and dual LEDs (green and orange-yellow) with a forward voltage of 2.0V at 20mA. Operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C.
