The 747871-8 is a 9-position D-Sub plug connector from TE Connectivity. It features male pins in a 2-row configuration with through hole mounting and solder termination for reliable PCB attachment. The signal contacts are gold-plated for corrosion resistance and reliable low-level signal transmission. The steel shell is tin-plated and includes grounding indents for improved EMI shielding.
Rated for 6A current, this connector is suitable for a variety of signal interconnection applications. The shell size is 1 (DE, E) with a housing/shell flange feature (4-40) for secure mating. The insulator material is rated UL94 V-0 for flammability, and the part is wave solder capable to 265°C per manufacturer datasheet.
