The SESCOCEM 7450 is a control module designed to manage DC generators, facilitating both load supply and battery charging. It offers significant flexibility for various challenging applications due to its numerous monitoring points and integrated programmable logic controller.
This module provides ultimate flexibility in engine control, aiming to optimize battery life, reduce maintenance, and minimize fuel consumption. It can annunciate warnings, shutdowns, and engine status information via an LCD screen, LEDs, remote PC, audible alarm, and SMS alerts. Parameter adjustment is accessible through the LCD and a 5-key navigation system, protected by PIN code.
The DSE7450 is compatible with both electronic (CAN) and non-electronic engines, offering a comprehensive set of flexible inputs, outputs, and extensive engine protections. It includes USB, RS232, RS485, and Ethernet ports for system expansion and configuration via DSE Configuration Suite Software.
Environmental testing standards include EMC (BS EN 61000-6-2, BS EN 61000-6-4), Electrical Safety (BS EN 60950), Temperature (-30°C to +70°C), Vibration (BS EN 60068-2-6), Humidity (BS EN 60068-2-30, BS EN 60068-2-78), and Shock (BS EN 60068-2-27). It provides IP65 protection at the front when installed with the supplied sealing gasket.
