The Molex 71661-2068 is an EBBI 50D right angle plug header with 68 loaded circuits arranged in 4 rows on 1.27mm pitch. It features a fully shrouded design with locking to the mating part and polarization to both the mating part and PCB for correct alignment during assembly. The connector uses brass contacts with gold plating on the mating interface and tin on the termination interface. The housing is made of black high-temperature thermoplastic rated UL 94V-0.
Electrically, the connector is rated for 1A maximum per contact and 30V maximum. It operates across a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C and can withstand up to 2,000 mating cycles. It has a through hole termination style with a 2.79mm PC tail length and is designed for a recommended PCB thickness of 1.60mm.
The 71661-2068 mates with EBBI 50D receptacles 71660 and 87552. It is RoHS, REACH, and low-halogen compliant, with agency certifications CSA LR19980 and UL E29179. Intended for board-to-board, signal, and wire-to-board applications.
