The 71600-020LF is a 20-position IDC receptacle from Amphenol ICC designed for ribbon cable termination. It features two rows with a 2.54mm pitch and 2.54mm row spacing, providing a compact and reliable connection for signal and low-power applications.
The contacts are female sockets with a gold finish of 0.76µm (30µin), offering excellent corrosion resistance and stable electrical performance over repeated mating cycles. The connector supports 28-30 AWG ribbon cable and uses insulation displacement contact (IDC) termination, enabling fast and consistent wire termination without stripping.
This free hanging (in-line) connector includes built-in features such as feed-through design, polarizing key for correct orientation, and integral strain relief to protect the cable termination point.
